Dr. Jordan Boudreau, BCBA-D
Chairman & Founder
Dr. Boudreau is the Founder of the Autism Centers of Michigan, and has been practicing as a BCBA since 2009. His service to individuals with developmental disabilities began in 2004, specializing in early intervention curriculum development, staff performance improvement, parent training, and functional behavior analysis. Dr. Boudreau is a recognized innovator in the field, having developed a unique, data-driven process to improve outcomes for children on the autism spectrum. His research interests include video self modeling and delayed prompt strategies to enhance stimulus control transfer. Dr. Boudreau earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University, a dual-track Master Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and Organizational Behavior Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a Doctorate Degree in Behavior Analysis from the Florida Institute of Technology.
Mike Dow
Chief Executive Officer
Mike has 25+ years of experience as a senior executive and business leader, at organizations ranging in size from startup to over $1 billion in annual revenue. His previous roles have been as CEO, COO, and Vice President at companies in the healthcare, management consulting, information technology, and software industries. His companies have received a wide range of accolades, including three consecutive years on Inc. 500 fastest-growing private firms in the U.S., and national recognition as a Great Place to Work and for innovation in employee health and wellness programs. He has provided management and strategy consulting to executives in both the public and private sector, from Fortune 500 firms to leaders at several federal government agencies. His work has been featured in several publications, including Fortune Magazine, CFO Magazine, HR Executive Magazine, and Washingtonian Magazine. Mike earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia, and graduated from the General Manager Program at Harvard University. Mike is also the author of an award- winning science fiction trilogy, Dark Matters, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage daughters.
Krista M. Boe, M.A., BCBA
Chief Clinical Officer
Krista has been practicing as a BCBA since 2008, with a focus in Autism Spectrum Disorder, Developmental Disabilities, and Organizational Behavior Management. Prior to ACM, Krista served dually diagnosed individuals at an Intermediate Care Facility, and as an independent consultant in a community waiver-based setting. Krista has served as a board member for the Heartland Association for Behavior Analysis, as well as the Nebraska Association for Behavior Analysis. She is a regular speaker at professional conferences, with topics that include changes to the BACB’s 2016 ethics code. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Biology from Central Michigan University, and a Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University. Krista enjoys reading, baking, yoga, and spending time outdoors with her puppy and family.
Emilia Obertein, M.A., BCBA
Clinical Director, Saginaw
Emilia began her career in behavior analysis as an undergraduate at Western Michigan University. In addition to taking behavior analytic courses, she worked as a behavior technician implementing early intensive behavioral interventions at Croyden Avenue School and Kalamazoo Autism Center. Emilia continued in the field, completing her Masters degree in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University under the supervision of Dr. Richard Malott. Following graduation in 2012, she became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and moved to South Bend, Indiana to work at a center for children and adolescents diagnosed with autism. During her time there, Emilia assisted in the initial development of the autism program and expanded the practice to three clinical centers. In 2015, Emilia returned to Michigan to be closer to family. In her time with ACM, Emilia has served as a BCBA Program Supervisor, Assistant Clinical Director, and now Clinical Director. In her free time, Emilia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, cooking, and exploring the outdoors.
Jon Timm, M.A., BCBA
Clinical Director, Northern Michigan
A Traverse City native, Jon has worked in the field of behavior analysis since 2009. He has provided services to individuals diagnosed with ASD and other developmental disabilities of all ages. After receiving his training from Western Michigan University, he obtained his BCBA and moved to Nashville, Tennessee. In Nashville he served in leadership roles with multiple ABA-based organizations, worked as an adjunct professor for Lipscomb University, and pursued his lifelong interest in songwriting and music. Jon returned to Traverse City to be with family and join ACM, an organization with a strong behavior analytic backing. He is passionate about the science of behavior and committed to the dissemination of behavior analysis in his home community. He currently continues to write and perform music with his band, and savors the beauty of the finest region of the country: Northern Michigan.
Jo Hency
Director of Administration
Jo leads the administrative functions at ACM. Her background spans a broad range of both clinical and administrative roles in the healthcare industry. Most recently, she worked in the Oncology unit at Munson Health as a nursing assistant, and previously as a medical assistant in a large, multi-disciplinary family medical practice. She has earned her Electronic Health Records Specialist certificate, Billing and Coding Specialist Certificate and Administrative Assistant Certificate at Performance Training Institute. Jo enjoys crocheting, reading and spending time with her husband and two children.
